HUGHES, David M. 1946 - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for David M. Hughes, who died Sunday night at the Masonic Home, Franklin Ind, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. at the Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Mr. Pearman, of Perrysville officiated and Masonic services were conducted by Unity ___ 544, AF&M of Perryslville.  Burial was in Hick's Cemetery at Perrysville.

Mr. Hughes had lived with his son, Albert in Covington prior to entering the home.  He was born __ 29, 1860 at Gessie son of Wm. and Hester Ann Hughes.  He was married Oct 5, 1881 to Victoria Jones, who preceded him in death Dec 30, 1943. Surviving besides the son, Albert, Crawfordsville, are a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Royer, Chicago; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.   --- transcribed by kbz
